This course is designed to address access to adequate treatment of patients chronically infected with hepatitis C. Access to the appropriate hepatology expertise to administer complex treatment regimens is key factor in treating these patients.

  • Describe the rationale behind the current screening recommendations for HCV
  • Identify the predictors of HCV treatment response with current therapies
  • Manage the adverse events of HCV treatment appropriately
