This webinar series is designed to support the efforts of the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) to improve the psychological health and traumatic brain injury system of prevention and care.

This presentation will provide an overview of the DCoE program evaluation and improvement effort, describe the uses and benefits of program evaluation and also explain the approach to program evaluation recommended by DCoE. In addition, the discussion will include common challenges that arise when programs carry out evaluations. This webinar will also introduce the newly revised DCoE Program Evaluation Guide (2^nd Edition), which is composed of practical modules that can be used in conjunction with each topic in this webinar series, including examples and templates to assist program personnel with evaluation efforts.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

• Explain the major parts involved in the conduct of a program evaluation
• Identify common challenges that program personnel face when conducting evaluations
• Describe what a culture of effectiveness means for psychological health and traumatic brain injury prevention and care programs

• Click on Take Course, you are now registered for the course.
• Upon completion of registration, a confirmation email will be sent providing webinar event details.

CONTINUING EDUCATION:
 

Continuing education credit is available from Duke Medicine. You must register on or before Dec. 16, 2014, at 3 p.m. (EST) to qualify for the receipt of continuing education credit

To qualify for receipt of continuing education credit for applicable webinars, eligible participants must create a profile in the Duke Medicine Learning Management System and register for the event on, or before, the event registration deadline. Complete responses to all pre-registration questions are required to be eligible to receive credit for attending this event. DCoE’s awarding of continuing education credit is limited in scope to health care providers who actively provide psychological health and traumatic brain injury care to U.S. active-duty service members, reservists, National Guardsmen, military veterans and/or their families.
