DUKE CANCER REVIEW
The Duke Cancer Review will highlight key areas of multidisciplinary care for cancer management, providing a review of the most clinically relevant data presented at ASCO and other recent, standard setting, professional scientific meetings. Emphasis will be placed on the integration of multi-modal approaches to cancer treatment, cancer care from a community perspective and strategies for optimizing transitions in goals of care.
Learning Objectives
1.Discuss current evidence-based guidelines for the diagnosis and management of common cancers.
2.Examine multidisciplinary approaches to the management of common cancers.
3. Examine key issues in oncology care including strategies to decrease disparities on health equity and improve access to care.
4. Discuss impact of emerging research and advances in pathology on the diagnosis/management of hematologic malignancies.
