NC Dermatology Association 2022 Annual Meeting - Virtual
The Annual Meeting will feature accomplished Dermatology and administrative faculty who will address current topics of interest to the practicing dermatologist. This educational event provides for continuing professional development with the goal of improving patient care outcomes. Medical practitioners work to stay updated on new findings and research so as to most effectively practice medicine in an evidence-based manner. The goal of the North Carolina Dermatology Association (NCDA) meeting is to keep its attendees up to date on new developments and research so that attendees can incorporate what they have learned into clinical practice. Two NCDA meetings are held per year. Attendees are surveyed at the conclusion of each meeting to obtain their knowledge gaps and needs. Peer-reviewed medical journals used most frequently in presentations include the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, Journal of Investigative Dermatology and Contact Dermatitis. In addition to relevant clinical lectures, there will be a legislative update provided that pertains to the practice of medicine in North Carolina, and clinical presentations will be provided by academic dermatologists and experts from institutions across the country.
