  • Increase knowledge of the modalities for radiation therapy and their use in the treatment of cancer
  • Identify organ toxicities related to radiation therapy treatment and understand treatment options for toxicities
  • Increase knowledge and understanding of acute and late effects of radiation therapy treatment, including secondary cancers and radiation recall
  • Increase knowledge of the role of radiation therapy as adjuvant, neo-adjuvant or palliation treatment for cancer
  • Increase knowledge of the psychosocial concerns in patients treated with radiation therapy
  • Increase knowledge of survivorship care, including sexual dysfunction in patients treated with radiation therapy
  • Understanding of basic concepts of radiation protection and hazards of radiation exposure for healthcare workers
