When it Stays with You: What Grief Looks Like in Medicine
Join us for our Grief Grand Rounds during Duke Health’s Grief Week 2025 on Wednesday, November 17, at 12 p.m. This special lunch webinar will be led by Duke alumna, bestselling author, Duke Clinical Pastoral Education Peer Advisory Group member, and former resident chaplain J. Dana Trent, who brings over 20 years of experience in end-of-life care and grief education. Designed specifically for Duke Health employees, this webinar recognizes the unique weight of grief we encounter in our workplace. Dana will help us identify the kinds of loss we face, understand how grief impacts us, and share practical steps for coping at work and at home. Her warm, compassionate approach will help you feel seen and supported. By the end of the session, you'll be equipped with concrete strategies and resources to support your own well-being and that of your colleagues in our distinct Duke Health environment.
