Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

·           Understand the evidence supporting percutaneous mitral repair and percutaneous left atrial appendage closure

·           Understand the role of the echocardiographer during percutaneous mitral repair and left atrial appendage closure

·           Understand the complimentary roles of 2D, 3D, and fusion imaging in percutaneous mitral repair and left atrial appendage closure
