This webinar series is designed to support the efforts of the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) to improve the psychological health and Traumatic Brain Injury system of prevention and care.

This presentation will describe how program personnel can develop or refine a mission statement, goals and SMART objectives (i.e., specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound). In addition, this webinar will describe the development and use of logic models, including clarification of inputs, activities, outputs and outcomes used to measure a program’s operations and effectiveness. Finally, the presentation will discuss ways to overcome common challenges that arise when defining a program.
 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Develop a mission statement, goals and SMART objectives for a program
  • Explain the major components of a logic model
  • Apply provided guidance to design and construct a program logic model
  • Select strategies to address common challenges
