1st Annual Duke Preventive Cardiology Symposium : Exhibitor Registration
We welcome exhibitors to this continuing medical education activity. An exhibit fee of $1500.00 will be assessed for one exhibit table. The registration fee will be waived for up to two (2) exhibit staff members for each table-top exhibit. Each exhibitor (company) will have one skirted table for their exhibits. Exhibit tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis and will not be assigned beforehand. The exhibit space will be available for set-up starting at 6:45 am. The meeting registration begins at 7:00 am, and the first session will begin at 7:25 am.
Please be advised that the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has restrictions on the promotion of investigational and pre-approved drugs and devices. This activity is CME certified. Please note the following Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Standards for Commercial Support:
STANDARD 4. Appropriate Management of Associated Commercial Promotion
4.1 Arrangements for commercial exhibits or advertisements cannot influence planning or interfere with the presentation, nor can they be a condition of the provision of commercial support for CME activities.
4.2 Product-promotion material or product-specific advertisement of any type is prohibited in or during CME activities. The juxtaposition of editorial and advertising material on the same products or subjects must be avoided. Live (staffed exhibits, presentations) or enduring (printed or electronic advertisements) promotional activities must be kept separate from CME. Forlive, face-to-face CME, advertisements and promotional materials cannot be displayed or distributed in the educational space immediately before, during, or after a CME activity. Commercial interests may not engage in sales or promotional activities while in the space or place of the CME activity.
