Duke Allergy and Immunology Seminar Oct 14, 2017
This daylong, continuing education symposium provides a wide range of current topics by leading experts to help healthcare providers to better understand mechanisms, diagnosis, and therapies for allergies and immunodeficiencies. Topics will be presented to cover a wide range of clinical topics including food allergies, allergic rhinitis, insect allergies, anaphylaxis, angioedema, and adult immunodeficiences. Practitioners from throughout central NC will be invited.

Describe risk factors, diagnosis, and treatment of anaphylaxis
Describe and apply appropriate testing, humoral responses, and therapeutic approaches for primary immunodeficencies
Review the most current scientific and clinical understanding of the recognition, diagnosis, ad therapeutic management of urticaria and angioedema
