2019 Duke Trauma Symposium
The challenges of providing quality trauma care continue. Trauma providers are expected to have advanced knowledge and skills in diagnosis, treatment and on‐going management. The goal of the 2019 Annual Trauma Symposium is to present the most current clinical information available about the care of the injured patient. To meet this goal, we have coordinated an outstanding program with faculty who are providing front-line care. This dynamic conference will address cutting edge trauma care issues.

Learning Objectives
Understanding the nuances of geriatric physiology and trauma care
Analyze care provided to trauma patients, through the use of specific interactive case studies.
Discussion of four practices based on peer review literature and the impact on trauma care
Understand the relationship between mechanism of injury and trauma patient outcomes.
