Advances in Multidisciplinary Management of Head & Neck Cancer Webinar

This virtual continuing medical education event will showcase current advances in the rapidly evolving field of head and neck oncology. Three different speakers will highlight current advances in diagnosis and treatment within the fields of surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and medical oncology. Time will also be focused highlighting an overview of the latest advances clinical trials. The goal of this course is to provide health care practitioners with a comprehensive update on current practices in all fields of head and neck oncology.

  • Identify surgical, radiation and medical management of head and neck cancers
  • Identify up to date with the evidence-based medicine and surgical interventions to improve patient outcomes
  • Explore and learn about multidisciplinary tumor boards and how to access them Learn about newer surgical techniques and the array of clinical trials available at Duke health systems
  • Understand the Impact of newer AJCC staging in the clinical care of the patient with head and neck malignancies
