PREPPING THE PIONEER TEACHER
March 6, 2024 to March 8, 2024
This will be a four hour faculty development session in person designed to improve teaching skills of clinical faculty. It will occur on two separate dates, and the curriculum and the schedule will be the same for both sessions.

Learning Objectives
- Reviewing anatomy of the shoulder review maneuvers used to evaluate and assess the shoulder.
- Reviewing best practices for how to review the shoulder exam with learners, and to provide a framework so that specific testing can be carried out to evaluate common causes for shoulder pain and limitation.
- Reviewing ways to assess the ability of learners to reason diagnostically
- Reviewing best practices for how we can better teach how to reason through clinical problems
- Reviewing how to effectively provide oral and written summative feedback to learners.
- Improving the skill set of providers to better diagnose and care for our patients with common skin conditions.
- Improving the ability of providers to teach these skills to learners.
