2024 EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE WORKSHOP (EBP WORKSHOP) FOR EDUCATORS AND CHAMPIONS OF EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE
The Duke Evidence-Based Practice Workshop (EBP Workshop) is an intensive and interactive 4- day session designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to practice and teach evidence-based medicine. Sessions feature a mix of both small and large group discussions, interactive lectures, and case-based studies. The workshop is designed for clinical educators and clinicians in teaching or leadership roles in medical schools, residency programs, or clinical practice, who wish to improve their skills as practitioners, educators,and leaders of evidence-based clinical practice.

Learning Objectives
- Describing scientific evidence and methods to investigate, evaluate, and improve patient-care practices.
- Discussing critical assessment of medical literature, communication and interpretation of results, and in teaching clinical epidemiology.
- Identifying different sources of evidence, describe their relative strengths and weaknesses, and gauge their applicability to individual patients.
