NC Neurological Society 2025 Annual Meeting

- The purpose of the NC Neurological Society Meeting is to provide high-yield clinically relevant updates on major topics in the practice of neurology to practitioners in the state of North Carolina (and externally) including physicians, advanced practice providers, and trainees. At the end of the conference, attendees should have gained new knowledge, acquired new approaches to delivering neurological care, identified new colleagues, and increased their competence and confidence for managing clinically relevant condition in neurological practice.

Learning Objectives
1. Improving recognition of neuroophthalmologic pathology and increase ability to utilize ophthalmology to support diagnosis of disease.
2. Improving understanding of novel agents for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and gain confidence in how to navigate their use in special populations.
3. Improving understanding of sleep disorders and their impact on other neurologic disease.
4. Increasing the neurologist’s ability to manage tremor in a multidisciplinary approach. 5. Discuss advances within the fields of cerebrovascular disease, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders and multiple sclerosis
