Positive Approach to Dementia Care

- This CEU offers an immersive training experience led by Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® (PAC) team, a nationally recognized leader in dementia education. Grounded in over 40 years of clinical expertise, PAC provides a person-centered framework that empowers caregivers and professionals to deliver compassionate, effective, and adaptive care to individuals living with dementia. Participants will explore Teepa Snow’s innovative techniques, including the Positive Physical Approach™ (PPA) and Hand-under-Hand® (HuH®) method, which foster respectful and cooperative interactions. The course emphasizes understanding the progression of dementia through the GEMS® Brain Change Model, helping caregivers recognize retained abilities and tailor support accordingly.
