NCMS October Emerging Issues in Medicine Summit

  • The Emerging Issues in Medicine: Navigating the Current Realities of Modern Health Care Summit will bring together physicians, PAs, health care leaders, policy experts, and innovators to examine the forces shaping today’s health care environment. Through keynote presentations, expert panels, and case-based discussions, participants will explore challenges related to workforce shortages, rising health care costs, rural access, artificial intelligence, and data-driven innovation.   The program will address the structural and operational pressures affecting health care delivery, including workforce capacity, affordability, care variation, emerging technologies, and the growing use of data to improve clinical and organizational decision-making. Faculty will share current research, practical strategies, and real-world examples to help participants better understand these issues and evaluate potential solutions within their own organizations and communities.   By the conclusion of the program, participants will have a broader understanding of the economic, technological, and workforce trends influencing modern health care and will be better prepared to assess opportunities for improving access, quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
