Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  Define physiologic and echo markers that precede the development of incident heart failure preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF)

  Identify differences between the matched case-control groups when controlling for age, race and sex

  Examine markers and groupings of markers associated with differences in the time to diagnosis of incident HFpEF
