The overall purpose of the Joint Command: Taking “Triple Aim” at Orthopedic Bundled Payments  is to provide foundation to clinicians and healthcare executives who are interested in creating a comprehensive orthopedic bundle payment model in their organization. The course focuses on a triple aim approach to such a model and focuses on care redesign using innovative models such as Enhanced Recovery and Perioperative Surgical Home we will as increased patient and provider involvement. The conference consists of 3 tracks; the first track will introduce the “rules of the game” and the second and third tracks will focus on providing understanding of the essential concepts of Enhanced Recovery, Perioperative Surgical Home, Perioperative Medicine and collaborative care. While the course touches on why bundle payment may be the future of medicine in the US, the hallmark of this conference is providing a deep understanding of how to build Enhanced Recovery, Perioperative Surgical Home models at your institution.
