19th Advanced Vitreous Surgery Course and Wet Lab
The Duke Advanced Vitreous Surgery (AVS) Course is one of the oldest running VR courses in the world, started by Robert Machemer in 1980, our course has been fortunate to have among its faculty alumni the luminaries of vitreoretinal surgery and research. Duke AVS is unique in that our program is designed to have 100% surgical retina talks, case discussions, and panels. Our invited national and international faculty set the tone with informative, cutting-edge talks, superior video, and a spirit of collegiality to engage each other and our international audience.
