This activity is designed to help clinicians learn how to manage patients undergoing complex surgery so they emerge faster, with less pain, nausea and vomiting; and hasten return of functional status.

Learning Objectives

  1. Treat anemia and/or hypovolemia
  2. Diagnose and treat coagulopathies
  3. Reduce the rate of "never events"
  4. Provide anesthetics to elderly patients that hopefully maximize rapid recovery of function and discharge
