ASCO Highlights 2013: Conquering Cancer With Community Bridges
The format will use didactic presentations and case studies. Topics will include advances in breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary cancers as well as, hematologic, thoracic, GYN, and skin malignancies, brain tumor and melanoma
- The ASCO Annual Meeting will be a forum for cutting-edge scientific and educational developments in oncology for the management of breast and GYN cancer, brain tumors, melanoma, hematologic malignancies, lung cancer, genitourinary and gastrointestinal cancer. Many oncology providers are not able to attend this annual meeting. Oncologists need other educational opportunities to stay current on these guidelines.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity the participants will be able to:
- Identify current guidelines for the management of breast and GYN cancers in order to provide optimal care to oncology patients.
- Identify current guidelines for the management of patients with brain tumors, melanoma, hematologic malignancies, and lung cancer in order to provide optimal care to oncology patients.
- Identify current guidelines for the management of genitourinary and gastrointestinal cancers in order to provide optimal care to oncology patients
