Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Advance Practice Provider's Clinical Review (CTICU APP Clinical Review)

The purpose of this educational offering is to reinforce clinical knowledge and skills of APPs in the CTICU. Strong clinical base and skills will increase confidence and decrease stress thereby providing appropriate care during patient situations.

Learning Objectives

Describe the role of the APP during patient emergencies.
Demonstrate use of CALS tray instruments.
Describe indications for ECMO deployment.
Describe the procedures used by APPs during emergencies.
