2018 Fall Trauma Workshop
The challenges of providing quality pediatric trauma care continue. Trauma providers are expected to have advanced knowledge and skills in diagnosis, treatment and on‐going management. The goal of the 2018 Fall Trauma Workshop is to present the most current clinical information available about the care of the injured patient. To meet this goal, we have coordinated an outstanding program with faculty who are providing front-line care. This dynamic conference will address cutting edge trauma care issues.

Discuss critical elements of trauma patient care as well as what research says is coming in the future to enhance healthcare providers’ understanding and to achieve better outcomes
Describe and understand the key physical, psychological and social needs of the pediatric trauma patient.
Outline the evidence based management of pediatric solid organ injury
Provide an overview of current practice for acute spinal injuries
