2020 VA-Duke Advanced Practice Provider Symposium

8th Annual Advanced Practice Provider Symposium is a day long event offering continuing education credits including pharmacology education to target audience of multidisciplinary clinicians to include nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, nurse anesthetists ,physician assistants, physicians, and pharmacists. Goal is to increase knowledge of current practice trends and evidence based care to improve patient outcomes.

Learning Objectives

1. Recognize and interpret diagnostics and change in symptoms to appropriately measure patient outcomes

2. Apply cultural intelligence strategies that may assist in advancing health equity and health outcomes among patients and families

3. Compare alternative and novel treatment strategies that can be employed for patient care.
