This is the Annual NCONL Conference open to nurse leaders across the state. The conference occurs March 20-22 and will take place at The Grandover Resort in Greensboro NC.

- Discuss the innovative approach to implementing a process to provide a safer environment for surgical patients by using PVP-1 nasal decolonization.
- Describe the causes of nurse manager burnout and how to improve burnout as it relates to the post-pandemic health care environment.
- Understand The Five Dysfunctions of a Team Concept and how it can be used to improve team performance.
- Review of the NCIOM Taskforce recommendations for the future of the nursing workforce.
- Explore themes for developing guidelines and identifying significance of Generative AI use in healthcare.
- Discuss the importance of soft skills when managing conflict resolution.
- Discuss the do's and don'ts of social media use and how to appropriately use social media in the healthcare setting.
- Discuss how to create a leadership pathway and how to best prepare yourself for the journey.
- Understand the power of nursing in driving positive change and innovation in our healthcare organizations and in our communities.
- Express the importance of leadership competence in fostering trust, healthy collaborative conflict, coaching commitment strategies, team accountability, and goal setting with the ability to vocalize at least two examples.
- Interpret their strengths and opportunities within their unique communication style within the DiSC Model and provide at least 1 example of how to apply a best practice in nursing leadership communication to support leading a high-performance team
- Discuss why DEI programs and initiatives are failing and what barriers to be addressing to advance DEI in health care practice as well and academia.
- Develop better understanding of current best practices that have been shared by nurses from across the state.
