Learning Objectives

1. Understanding the definition and prevalence of burnout in healthcare, and its emotional, physical, and professional impact on individuals and teams.

2. Learning about the root causes of burnout and practical strategies to address it at individual, team, and organizational levels. Identify actionable steps, available resources, and ways to foster a culture of well-being within the healthcare community.

3. Exploring the profound impact of humor and laughter on physical health, mental well-being, relationships, workplace culture, and longevity.

4. Gaining insights from scientific research, compelling anecdotes, and interactive discussions on the therapeutic benefits of humor. Learn practical tools to harness these benefits in daily life.

5. Learning about the caregiving journey of a father and daughter who used photography to confront his disease diagnosis and eventual death. Understand how they navigated the disease diagnosis, used photography as a bridge, and strengthened family bonds through this process.

6. Gaining insights into diverse death practices from around the globe, the evolution of the modern funeral industry, and the latest trends in death care. Explore topics such as aquamation (water cremation) and green burial.

7. Learning about the funeral customs of our ancestors, the development of today's funeral industry, costs, consumer rights, and how to plan ahead with a funeral home.

8.Understanding the increasing interest in eco-friendly and personalized death care options.
