- TeamSTEPPS is an evidence-based set of teamwork tools designed to optimize team function and improve patient outcomes. The TeamSTEPPS Essentials course is a condensed overview of the TeamSTEPPS principles utilizing activities and scenarios that allow participants the opportunity to learn, practice and apply new skills. This course also provides resources and support for managing change and creating training strategies.
