This competency testing will review skills and base knowledge of the chemotherapy infusion nurse. The competency packet will include articles of current chemotherapy regimens and drugs to include calculation of drugs and labs, safe handling of hazardous drugs, staff and patient safety. The packet will also include knowledge of cancer basics, pathology, oncologic emergencies and critical thinking skills.
