Acute Heart Failure: What Should We Do For It? When to Refer?

This presentation will review the most current and up-to-date treatments for the management of heart failure. Heart Failure is very costly to the Medicare system and not managed efficiently, not effectively across the country. Understanding the medical modalities and when to refer the heart failure patient to the appropriate level of care may help reduce unnecessary admissions, readmissions and increase the quality of life for the heart failure patient.

Target Audience

This presentation targets the inpatient and outpatient physicians, RNs, and other healthcare team members in the care of the heart failure patient.
