AHA TEAM TRAINING TEAMSTEPPS ESSENTIALS COURSE

  • Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety (TeamSTEPPS) is an evidence-based set of teamwork tools designed to optimize team function, and ultimately patient outcomes. The Essentials Course is a half-day online course with an introduction and overview to the TeamSTEPPS principles and tools utilizing activities and scenarios. This approach allows participants to learn, practice, and apply the TeamSTEPPS essentials content, and provides established resources and the skills to create training strategies, events and learning experiences.
