ARHS ADVANCED LEADERSHIP SESSIONS 2022

- The purpose of the AHRS leadership development program is to help physicians develop and practice critical leadership skills and abilities to effectively meet challenges and issues related to management and leadership in their clinical settings in the complex environment of health care. Effective leader development is progressive, builds on lessons learned, and maximizes individual potential. With this developmental approach in mind, this program builds on the premise of a 1-year program. The sessions are developed around the three key broad topics as discussed in our meeting: Leadership & leadership styles, Change & Change Immunity, and EQ/Communication.

Learning Objectives
- The objective of the program is to develop and practice critical leadership skills and abilities to effectively meet challenges and issues related to management and leadership in the complex environment of health care in general and the clinical settings of AHRS in particular.
- An underpinning premise to the program is to improve provider engagement and motivation to actively apply new learning and skills to current and future leadership positions within the AHRS.
