Bring The Pain! A Pointed Review of Inpatient Analgesia
The CE will review common and uncommon inpatient analgesia regimens while assessing patient population specific needs and nuances. The CE will also examine pharmacotherapeutic pearls of common analgesics, and provide literature updates and resources as they relate. In addition, opioid conversions and associated resources will be reviewed, and presenters will discuss recent updates in NARCAN prescribing practices.

- Describe common and uncommon inpatient analgesia regimens to improve judicious review, verification and recommendation among clinical Pharmacists.
- Develop specific analgesia regimens for common inpatient indications.
- Identify resources for and discuss strategies when converting doses for certain opioid analgesics.
- Discuss benefits of and contraindications to selected analgesics and when they may be avoided or preferred.
