Duke Cancer Review 2020

The Duke Cancer Review 2020 will highlight key areas of multidisciplinary care for cancer management, providing a review of the most clinically relevant data presented at ASCO and other recent, standard-setting, professional scientific meetings. Emphasis will be placed on the integration of multi-modal approaches to cancer treatment, cancer care from a community perspective, and strategies for optimizing transitions in goals of care. 

Learning Objectives

Discuss current evidence-based guidelines for the diagnosis and management of common cancers. 

Examine multidisciplinary approaches to the management of common cancers

Describe the role of the advanced practice provider in oncology care and strategies to strengthen their collaboration in oncology practices.

Examine key issues in oncology care including strategies to mitigate burnout in healthcare professionals and decreasing disparities and expanding access to oncology care
