One day conference to educate lay professional caregivers about caregiving related issuesand chronic conditions.

Learning Objectives
(1) Teach participants to understand how the bond between caregiver and care receiver forms and transforms relationships and how listening, learning and sharing build trust and respect in caregiving;
(2) Participants will learn about the key types of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and how to ensure that AI is used responsibly in a healthcare setting. Participants will be invited to identify ways that AI could be used in their daily work;
(3) Participants will learn how patients qualify for hospice, which patients are appropriate for referral, what services are provided, how to maintain relationships with patients in hospice care, and how to appropriately present the option of hospice to qualified patients;
(4) Participants will learn what role they can play in federal and state advocacy and public health efforts concerning Alzheimer's disease through topics such as the BOLD and Healthy Brain Initiative, advocacy, and current research regarding drugs and treatments.
