Duke Clinical Leadership Program (DCLP) 2019

February 4, 2019 to June 3, 2019

The Duke Clinical Leadership Program (DCLP, formerly C-CHAMP) was founded by the Chancellor for Health Affairs in 2010 to help expand leadership capacity within DukeHealth. The program provides faculty with an opportunity to deepen their awareness of healthcare operations and to develop relevant leadership skills. The program is run by the School of Medicine Office for Faculty with the enthusiastic support of Chancellor Eugene Washington. Program fellows are introduced to leaders from the Health System, School of Medicine, School of Nursing and Fuqua School of Business. The goals of the program are to: *Provide a management toolkit that will enable participants (referred to as fellows) to lead and grow their units with increased efficacy and efficiency; *Deliver education and training that will allow participants to enhance their career trajectories; * Strengthen the pipeline of DukeHealth's next round of leaders; *Enrich the institution through engagement and innovation and improve its culture; *Provide cross fertilization and integration across disparate divisions, departments, and academic units within DukeHealth; *Build collegiality among DukeHealth's next generation of leaders.
