The 2026 Duke SNF Skilled Nursing skills day is an event that will bring together local skilled nursing facilities in the triangle who are part of the Duke SNF HOPE Collaborative to learn,demonstrate and receive vital educational benefit. The skills will be taught by Duke health system experts along with other device experts. The skills day will highlight the educational gap noted by local skilled nursing facilities on topics such as: Parenteral Feeding, PICC line,and IV education.
This is a private course; this course is not taking additional attendees.

Learning Objectives
- Describe various enteral feeding devices and the differences between them
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with g-tubes, NG tubes, and dobhoff to improve patient outcomes
- Identify and provide educational resources and demonstration paired with hands on training, PICC Line and IV access
- Be able to perform PICC line care,cleaning, and access practices
- Identify potential complication with the use of PICC lines
- Review resources and acquire materials and knowledge to troubleshoot, and provide better support and outcomes for patients in skilled nursing facilities with PICC lines
