Duke Telestroke Symposium 2024

The Duke Telestroke Network will be hosting an educational event for the seven external and two internal spoke hospitals associated with the Duke Telestroke Network. The emphasis will be on acute management of intracerebral hemorrhage, updates on acute ischemic stroke care, and patient safety pertaining to stroke-associated dysphagia. The event will be open to all staff at the associated facilities. Topics will be presented by Duke Neurologists and Clinical Speech-Language Pathologists, and the venue will be virtual.

Describing the current practice guidelines for acute management of large-core ischemic strokes.

Identifying the current practice guidelines for dysphagia screening and patient safety for swallowing.
