Duke Telestroke Symposium 2026

The Duke Telestroke Network will be hosting an educational event for the seven external and two internal spoke hospitals associated with the Duke Telestroke Network. All medical staff of Duke Health Network Services affiliations will also be invited. The emphasis will be on acute management of stroke (ischemic and hemorrhagic), key elements of secondary stroke prevention, and a best practice presentation of patient satisfaction tracking. Topics will be presented by Duke providers, and the venue will be virtual.

Learning Objectives

1.Summarizing the current practice guidelines for emergent treatment of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.

2.Describing key elements of secondary stroke prevention to be addressed during the inpatient stay.

3.Identifying the unique updates addressed within the 2026 clinical practice guideline updates.
