Duke University School of Medicine/Duke Clinical Research Institute Clinical Research Day

Clinical Research Day is co-sponsored by the School of Medicine, Duke Clinical Research Institute, Duke’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative, and the Office of Graduate Medical Education. The event draws hundreds of faculty, staff, trainees, and students from Duke University School of Medicine to celebrate clinical research and the vast and diverse array of activities taking place across our campus. In addition to faculty speakers, the event will include a poster session from 4:00-5:15 pm and the keynote speaker will be Tom Insel, President and Co-Founder of Mindstrong Health.

Target Audience

Primary Care Physicians, Specialty Physicians, Allied Health Professionals, other Trainees and Clinical Research staff

Learning Objectives

Provide overviews and examples of clinical research conducted at Duke and elsewhere.
Offer information about clinical research processes and resources available at Duke and elsewhere.
Enhance opportunities for collaboration between healthcare providers, clinical researchers and clinical research staff.
