This presentation will focus on the non-medicalized perspective of death and dying. There will be a focus on using everyday language.

Identifying common physical, emotional, and spiritual changes that occur at end of life. Normalize death as a natural part of life, reducing fear and stigma.

Demonstrating techniques for meaningful presence, including silence, touch, and active listening. Providing comfort-focused interventions that align with patient and family values. Real-World Applications Enhancing family understanding and reducing anxiety during active dying.
