Endobronchial Ultrasound And Navigation Bronchoscopy Course

This course is designed for pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, and allied health professionals who are interested in enhancing their knowledge about lung cancer staging and more effectively utilizing existing tools and new technologies, particularly endobronchial ultrasound and navigational bronchoscopy in their care of lung cancer patients. The lectures and interactive didactic sessions will cover a range of topics including Transbronchial Needle Aspiration, Endoscopic Ultrasound, Navigational bronchoscopy and staging of lung cancer. There will be an additional afternoon didactic session geared toward RN/RT and allied health personnel. Topics will be specific to the role they play in EBUS and Navigation bronchoscopy.

Pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, trainees in pulmonary, critical care medicine, and thoracic surgery, nurses, respiratory care practitioners, and allied health professionals

  • Apply current guidelines for lung cancer staging

  • Expand knowledge of EBUS and Navigational Bronchoscopy backgrounds and methodologies

  • Increase skills in performing EBUS and Navigational Bronchoscopy by hands on practice under the guidance of experts in the field
