This event is a virtual symposium that will focus on aspects of palliative radiation oncology and will include 10 oral presentations of research from international presenters followed by a keynote speaker, Dr. Raymond Mak, who will talk about using AI tools for prognosticating patient outcomes. The event will be jointly sponsored by Duke University and the Society for Palliative Radiation Oncology

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1.Describe recent advances and evidence-based updates in palliative radiotherapy across common clinical scenarios.
2.Evaluate emerging palliative radiotherapy research presented in oral abstract sessions and assess its relevance to clinical practice.
3. Explain the role of artificial intelligence and prognostic models in predicting patient outcomes and informing palliative treatment decisions.
4. Apply updated evidence and prognostic insights to optimize patient-centered palliative radiotherapy care.
5. Engage in scholarly discussion and collaboration with peers to advance clinical practice and research in palliative radiation oncology.
