This is a workshop to teach Focused Cardiac Ultrasound to faculty anesthesiologists at Duke, primarily in the Neuro-Anesthesia Division. The workshop will consist of the following: (a) 6 hours of pre-course materials (interactive online modules and 2 papers to read); (b) 3 hours of hands-on scanning time on standardized patients and an ultrasound simulator; (c) 1-hour classroom-based review of pathology;
