Heart Safe Choices

The purpose of this event is to replicate a DUH event led by Kevin Sowers and Mary Ann Fuchs specific for heart center faculty and staff. It will include small group discussion of past safety events to identify and analyze risks taken and potential solutions to enhance patient safety.

Duke Heart faculty, fellows, residents, and staff

Describe the impact of behavioral choices on patient safety.

Describe Just Culture;

Apply Just Culture principles to case studies.

Discuss the impact of system contributors to medical error.
