Innovative Approach to Eye Stroke

Overview

The Duke Ophthalmology Education Series is designed to highlight our Ophthalmology Faculty with a focus on research and clinical updates. Our target audience includes Ophthalmologist and Optometrist in the Community. Attendees benefit from the tips and pearls offered by the Duke Eye Center Faculty in disease identification diagnosis and treatment. 

Learning Objectives

  • Identify the patients with acute vision loss that should be directed to the ED for prompt evaluation/treatment
  • Understand the rationale behind the new CRAO treatment guidelines (thrombolysis and hyperbaric oxygen)
