  • Summarize research about the positive impact of music on the developing brain in a relation to listening and language
  • Discuss the development of music perception and how it relates to language development 
  • Demonstrate how to coach and guide parents on using simple musical activities to support the development of listening and language with their infant or child who is deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Discuss how music intervention techniques can enhance the development of communication for children with multiple challenges
