Learning Objectives

  1. Describe how COVID-19 has affected the Latinx population of Durham County and North Carolina
  2. Discuss social drivers of the COVID-19 pandemic as experienced by the Latina community, and identify community-engaged strategies to address them.
  3. Participate in ongoing initiatives at Duke Health designed to improve care for Latinx patients.
  4. Identify opportunities for students, residents, faculty, and community clinicians to decrease health disparities in the Latinx community.
