- Examine sources of adversity, including poverty, trauma, child maltreatment, phys-ical and mental health, violence, substance abuse, family instability, and systems of oppression.
- Define and describe the impact of adversity on child development.
- Identify approaches and strategies, including the use of restorative practices, that promote positive outcomes for children who are deaf/hard of hearing and families experiencing adversity.
- Describe key inter-professional and collaborative practices which support service delivery.
