Mammograms to MRI 2018

June 17, 2018 to June 20, 2018

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive review and update of both established breast imagng modalities along with advances in the state-of-the-art techniques.  A complete discussion with emphasis on practical advice of analog and digital mammography, breast ultrasound and interventional techniques will provide a strong foundation to advance to newer techniques.  Identifying the role and interpretation of breast MRI will be given special attention.

Target Audience

Praciticing radiologists who perform any type of breast imaging and/or interventional techniques of the breast.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify the newest techniques being uitlized to diagnose and treat disases of the breast.
  2. Recognize the newest techniques being implemented in breast imaging.
  3. Discuss yearly requirements for ABR MOC and ACR accreditation.
